we had a fantastic stay at the queens. the chef stayed late to prepare food for us, which was so nice after our long day. we enjoyed a delicious three-meat roast, exactly what we needed. the location is great, close to various attractions for future visits. staff hospitality stood out!

Consider asking the staff for their daily specials, as they can recommend delightful dishes not on the regular menu.

The Merlot served with dinner offered a pleasant surprise, kicking off the evening on a decent note.
Bathrooms could use a facelift. A bit outdated and a lingering drain smell wasn’t ideal. No bin in the bathroom led to some minor inconvenience. Breakfast options were limited, and what was labeled as sourdough turned out to be just generic white bread. It felt like everything came out without much thought or effort, especially when trying to request any changes. There was a general lack of attention to detail throughout the dining experience, which detracted from the overall stay. I'd call it average at best, given the price point.

Exceptional Staff and Comfortable Stay
I had a lovely one-night stay in a Standard Twin Room. The staff were truly exceptional, accommodating my late arrival with a meal even as the kitchen was closing. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring nicely cooked options, and the bed was extremely comfortable. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to ensure the kitchen service is more prompt during busy times.

Great food saved by a late chef, but Wi-Fi was spotty.

The bar's got a chilled vibe with a cracking selection, and the rooms are newly spruced up—comfy and decked out just right! Plus, the staff are chummy and helpful, making you feel right at home.
Breakfast hours were misleading, and the food quality left a lot to be desired. The traditional English breakfast was a bit of a letdown, and my chicken linguine? Let's call it underwhelming.
